American Independence Day

American Independence Day

Independence Day is a federal holiday commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States, on 4th July, 1776. Although Congress voted to declare independence on 2nd July, it was not until 4th July that the 13 American colonies were declared free, united, and independent states. This day is filled with celebration including fireworks, carnivals, parades, barbecues, picnics,  baseball games and family reunions.
