Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is one of the biggest and most important holidays in China. It is a time for families to get together and celebrate, and it is also a time for giving thanks for the year that has passed. The holiday typically falls on the first day of the Chinese calendar, which is usually in late January.

During Chinese New Year, families will often exchange gifts and visit loved ones. It is also traditional to eat certain foods that are believed to bring good luck. Common items include dumplings, fish, and oranges. Of course, no Chinese New Year celebration would be complete without fireworks! All over China, you can hear the sound of firecrackers going off as people welcome in the new year.
