Danish national anthem 1st sung (1780)

Danish national anthem 1st sung (1780)

Denmark is one of only two countries in the world to have two national anthems. The second national anthem song was introduced to incorporate the citizens of Denmark. The song is called  ‘Kong Christian stod ved højen mast’ and it’s about the heroics of Danish and Norwegian sailors during the wars against Sweden in the 17th and 18th centuries.
