National Fitness Day

National Fitness Day was established in 2016 to celebrate the ways that physical activity can benefit everybody, get people moving and help spread the message of fitness’ remarkable benefits. Around the country, people will get together to challenge themselves, try out new exercises and reignite their love of exercise! Using the hashtag #FitnessDay, people are encouraged to show off their best moves on social media and share memories from their fitness journeys, whether that be reminiscing about the 80s aerobics craze or showcasing medals from races. It’s like a nationwide school sports day! This special day is all about breaking down barriers between people and fitness, so whatever your current fitness level, don’t be afraid to get moving!
