National Winnie The Pooh Day

National Winnie The Pooh Day

Today is National Winnie the Pooh Day, a day to celebrate one of the most beloved children’s characters of all time.

Winnie the Pooh first appeared in a book by A.A. Milne in 1926, and he has been delightful readers ever since. Pooh is a bear of very little brain, but he is also kind-hearted and good-natured, always willing to help his friends.

In honour of National Winnie the Pooh Day, why not take part in one of our activities? You could learn about Winnie the Pooh and his adventures, take part in our word search or make your very own teddy bear! However you choose to celebrate, make sure to take some time to appreciate the simple joys that Pooh and his friends have to offer.
