RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch

The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch is an annual event that encourages people to birdwatch in their own gardens. The event takes place over a full weekend in January, and participants are asked to count the birds they see in their garden for one hour. There are many different ways to take part in the event, including online surveys, apps, and downloadable packs. The RSPB also provides resources and advice to help people identify the birds they see. Last year, over half a million people took part in the event, and over eight million birds were counted. This year’s event is sure to be just as successful, and it’s a great way to get involved in birdwatching.
