Wear A Christmas Hat Day (The Brain Tumour Society)

Wear A Christmas Hat Day (The Brain Tumour Society)

December 16 is Wear a Christmas Hat Day, a special day to raise awareness for brain tumours. This day was started by The Brain Tumour Society, a charity dedicated to supporting people affected by brain tumours. Every year, on this day, people all over the world wear festive hats to show their support for those affected by this disease. Brain tumours can have a devastating impact on people’s lives. They can cause physical and cognitive impairments, and in some cases, they can be life-threatening. To help spread awareness of this disease and support those affected by it, The Brain Tumour Society organises events and fundraising activities on Wear a Christmas Hat Day. So, if someone is seen wearing a jolly hat on December 16, they must be standing in solidarity with people suffering from this virulent disease!
