Business Development Manager (Community)

Location: Head Office, Wimbledon (with travel), UK
Job Type: Full time, permanent

Oomph! provide high quality training and support for people already working or volunteering in places where older people live or go regularly. As the Community Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the identification of potential clients, setting up meetings and signing up clients in partnership with the Head of Community Partnerships.

Job Description

Key Tasks:
• Identification of potential delivery partners
• Research to find most appropriate decision makers
• Following up cold and hot leads to get meetings with potential delivery partners
• Attend meetings to bring potential delivery partners in to the projects
• Ensure that the administration of the sales (using our sales system) is completed
• Work with the County Sports Partnerships to bring in leads

Key Results / Objectives:
• Develop a pipeline of strong leads of potential delivery partners to take up the Community product
• Hit the delivery partner acquisition targets
• Ensure that sales administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements - What we’re looking for:

• Experience of working in a sales environment
• Ability to quickly take in and explain information
• Good oral and written communication
• Positive and resilient attitude
• Passion for improving people’s lives
• Knowledge of older people’s housing is preferred but not essential

Small Print

On offer is a salary of £18,000 - £25,000pa
