Introducing our new reminiscence newspaper, The Wellness Weekly!

In case you missed our earlier announcement, we're excited to share that we've launched a brand-new reminiscence newspaper, 'The Wellness Weekly', which started the first week of July. 

'The Wellness Weekly', which replaces the Oomph Digest this August, is designed to ignite memories and promote meaningful conversations! 

Here's a taster as to what you can expect to see in 'The Wellness Weekly': 


  • News Stories: A collection of past news stories paired with discussion-based questions to get people chatting and reminiscing. 
  • Oomph! Calendar: Each issue will highlight a themed day from our Oomph! Calendar, featuring interesting facts and conversation starters. 
  • Music Page: A dedicated section for music showcasing top tracks from the past, artists and more! 
  • Movement routines: Associated with a spotlight track within the music section, designed to get people moving. 
  • Celebratory Page: This page is due to change and will be developed in partnership with different homes. This section will celebrate the achievements and the special moments of people living in care settings. We would love to feature birthdays, accomplishments, activity news, creative writing, artwork, and more. 
  • Puzzles: Two pages dedicated to quizzes, word scrambles, word searches, quotes, jokes and more!
