Frequently Asked
Questions

  • How do you log in?

No great shakes here you’ll be pleased to hear! Just visit the platform (ondemand.oomphwellness.org) and enter the email address you have always used. You can reset your default password at any time. Add profiles for your colleagues so that anyone in the home can log in whenever they want.

  • Can residents and family use it?

Absolutely! This is a platform built for people who want to improve their wellbeing. You can set up profiles for the residents in your home, and you can provide access to family members and volunteers if you wish. Residents are automatically set to a view that will recommend content based on their interests and abilities. As a platform admin, you can keep management features hidden, so other users can feel free to roam the system whilst you have complete peace of mind.

  • How do I find what I'm looking for?

Searching for activity ideas couldn’t be easier. We’ve built a powerful new search tool that helps you zone in on content that suits the needs and abilities of those you care for. We’ve even introduced content tags, so if you are looking for content in a special interest area you can easily find everything on that topic at the touch of a button.

And if you’re not really sure what you’re looking for we’ve taken the guesswork out of the search with a new ‘surprise me’ button – just hit ‘surprise me’ and be served up a new activity suggestion each time.

  • Have the activity ideas changed?

We’re always growing our ideas library, and the new On Demand features all the best activity content from the platform (and even some new ones!).

What we have changed, is the way we support you with delivery tips and suggestions. We have been working with our specialist partners to bring you ideas and adaption to help support your delivery, every activity idea now features delivery notes, clear instructions and features that make the content interactive and accessible.

It’s still Oomph content – but with a bit more… oomph!

  • Do you still have an interactive calendar?

The interactive calendar was one of the most popular features of our old platform, and you will still find it on the new platform – but with a few changes!

You can now create your own version of the calendar in ‘My Home Planner’. Add Oomph content or schedule your own, this is a tool that can help you plan for every event in the home. And best of all it will help you keep track of what you have delivered so you have a clear record of your activity program.

  • Do I still have activity reports?

Absolutely, with so much variety on the platform it’s important to keep track of everything you have done and all the impact you are making with your program. Complete a review of each session you have delivered to build reports that highlight the positive difference you are making.

Our reports will also show you what parts of the platform you are using the most, who is taking part and most importantly, keep notes on how each session went.
